- How often will I need to replace my CO2 cylinder?
- The 60L cylinder will on average make up to 60 litres of sparkling water, but there is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. That's what makes SodaStream so unique! How frequently you need to replace your carbonating cylinder depends on the level of carbonation you use
- If you find yourself replacing gas more than you'd like to, try reducing the number of times you push the carbonating button per use, and use firm 1-2 second pushes each time
- There are some tests you can try to help determine if your CO2 cylinder is out of gas:
- Make sure the carbonating cylinder is tight enough and retighten it if necessary by twisting the cylinder to the right
- If you're still not getting bubbles, you may be out of gas
- Pro-tip: SodaStream recommends having at least 3 cylinders on hand, so you'll always have bubbles and so you can exchange 2 at a time

Pink CO2 gas bottle problem.
This product is good but I cannot find a place that exchange the pink Co2 gas bottles. I have tried several shops where I exchanged my old gas bottles but they do not have the pink bottles. This makes the product a problem as I am not prepared to buy a new gas bottle every time the gas runs out.

Can’t refill anywhere.
Can’t refill these anywhere on the Atlantic seaboard side of Cape Town, I’ve tried 6 shops. They all have stock of the old blue bottles, don’t buy the new model.

No refills.
I'm stuck with an empty pink system cylinder that came with a new machine, and 2 near-full model 60s because when my old machine broke all of the retailers said there are no new machines that support them. Nowhere seems to have refills/replacements and Soda Stream support seem intent on ignoring my query for locations that keep the new cylinders.

No ability to refill.
I'm giving this product one star until they can solve the CO2 refill issue. There is no where that will refill the canister —negating the very reason one buys a Sodastream.
